wound care and skin care products that address the needs of
consumers and health care professionals and incorporate the latest
innovations. The portfolio includes heritage brands JOHNSON'S®
Baby and BAND-AID® Brand, as well as leading skin care brands
such as NEUTROGENA®, AVEENO® and CLEAN & CLEAR®.
The Associate Director of Color Cosmetics Product Development will
be responsible for providing leadership of a newly formed team
based in Skillman, NJ focusing on the creation of new and improved
Cosmetic products for the Neutrogena brand. In addition the
selected candidate will work closely across various internal and
external partnerships to lead innovation and insure timely delivery of
superior new Cosmetic products. The Associate Director will also be
looked upon to partner with Marketing drive overall business
strategy including new product pipeline and existing business
support. He/she will lead a team of scientists to drive new areas of
innovation, delivering consumer preferred products with exceptional
aesthetics and efficacy profiles. The Associate Director will provide
technical guidance and lead scientists to translate consumer insights
and concepts into winning products, and will partner with technology
scientists in the Beauty Business Unit to identify ownable technology
platforms for color cosmetics.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Chemistry or Chemical
Engineering is required. An advanced degree in these specified
areas is preferred. A minimum of 10 years of overall professional
experience in product design and new technologies in Color
Cosmetic and Skin-care products is required. Previous experience in
Directing and/or Managing a team is required. An in-depth
understanding of the Cosmetic category (including mass and
prestige), product aesthetics, color impression delivery and category
consumer needs is required. The ability to develop technical and
business strategies, while ensuring successful execution is required.
A track-record of developing, maintaining and providing strategic
direction, specific to a Marketing business is required. The ability to
maximize available resources in a fast-paced business environment
is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are
required. The ability to work in Skillman, NJ is required. The ability
to travel New York City area is required. Additional travel would be
up to 10% and is required.
